We are a quality woodcraft business with a workshop located in Mid-Wales and retail outlet in Shropshire. We aim to provide well designed and crafted wood based items ranging from furniture to household goods and giftware and sell only the finest quality lathes, tools and accessories which we personally test and use. We are a family based business and the workshop is actually a converted Welsh oak framed barn - not just a clever name! We are stockists of Chestnut wood finishing products, Planet Manufacturing woodturning accessories, Crown Tools and Henry Taylor Tools, Hegner abrasives, Ashley Iles Tools, Jet machinery and an ever increasing range of woodturning supplies including hand selected woodturning blanks. You can find us on the first floor at Oswestry Town Market Hall on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 8.30-4pm where we have three units which includes a demonstration workshop so you can not only see the products we sell being used but will enable us to better try and answer any questions about how these products perform. We are proud sponsors of Mid-Wales woodturners. Friendly group of turners who always welcome new members. There are regular meetings and demonstrations throughout the year. The Environment.
We like to use locally sourced materials wherever possible and as lovers of wood and the planet we will only use timbers from proven sustainable sources whether they are local timbers or exotics. Our workshop is in a beautiful rural location and we aim to keep it that way. Each year we try to plant some of our native trees ( so far species include oak, ash, walnut and beech) we believe 'as you sow so shall you reap'.
